We need to raise $200 for our new compost system, which provides green waste disposal to neighborhood families as well as rich compost for Funk Town and other gardens.

and, if you rely on funk town composting for your green waste, can’t make it this weekend or simply have a really good time preparing the space and want to keep on keeping on with this project…
please consider coming to help out on saturday, november 19th! we will be building new compost bins outside the coop. this will give you safer, easier access to the compost, allow for easier compost maintenance and turning, and spare our chickens the caffeine high they’ve been getting from the coffee grounds.
